Great day of fishing, an okay day of catching, but not for the lack of effort from our Captian. He went above and beyond to make our time on his boat fun and entertaining. His boat and equipment was well maintained and his knowledge of the area was excellent.

We came to Rockport to catch redfish. Though the weather wasn’t very cooperative and we had to cut our trip short our captain did a great job of putting us on the fish and we got some great redfish to bring back home. Looking forward to next year with captain, Chris.

So I recently booked a trip with Captain Chris it was just me and my daughter it was a great experience. He was very hands-on polite and respectful with my daughter this was her first fishing trip and now I think she is hooked for life we caught a bunch of fish and had a blast I recommend him 100% especially if you have younger daughters and you don’t want them to be uneasy. We appreciate it Chris we will see you when it’s red snapper season and we’ll get some big ones!!!

We did a 4-hour coastal fishing trip in Rockport. It was with my wife and her 75-year-old mother. The fishing trip was great. My Mother-in-Law had a great time. Captain Chris took good care of her (us), he was attentive to her while navigating the waterways (slowing down when he knew the waves would rock the boat too much for a senior citizen), she loved it. The boat was very nice, the captain was safety first, knowledgeable about the area, the big ones were elusive, but we caught plenty of fish.

Had a great experience with Captain Chris! For 3 inexperienced fishermen he was helpful and informative in each and every way! He got us out on the water early and explained exactly what we needed to do in order to catch fish which is what we did. Captain Chris had a great knowledge of the water and always made sure we were put in the best position to make the catch! Captain Chris overall was a helluva guy to be on board with and a great time. I would recommend anybody to take a trip with him! We will definitely be back out on the water because of him!

This was my son’s first bay fishing experience and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Captain Chris was an excellent guide/host and put us on fish from our first casts to our last.

My son is very hesitant on trying new things and wasn’t sure how this trip would turn out, but Captain Chris helped him overcome all that. Captain Chris assisted and coached him up, and by mid-trip, my son was baiting, casting and landing fish in his own. By the end of the trip my son had the bug, all smiles and asking when we could do it again.

My wife and I can not express how much we appreciate Captain Chris for making his first trip a memorable one and wanting to do it again, but thank you! This will now become a normal thing fishing with Captain Chris, when we take our family vacations to the coast and who we will recommend to our friends for fishing trips.

Had an amazing time. Chris with Coastal Guide Service put us on the fish. My son and I couldn’t reel them in fast enough. We didn’t expect much at all as the weather was less then ideal but Chris not only knew how to navigate around the conditions, he made it the best trip we have ever had. We didn’t just find our forever go to guide, we made a great friend. Chris isn’t only an extremely knowledgeable fisherman, he is an all around great guy who made us feel comfortable from the start.
